It grows slowly and only gets flaps in the leaves when they reach about 20 cm in diameter.

CARE
Swiss Cheese is a reasonably easy plant to care for, therefore it is well suited in most homes. Because of it's low maintenance level it's a really good "beginner" plant.
Watering: Considering that the Swiss Cheese plant origins from a tropical climate, it is actually not a demanding plant in relation to water. When the top layer of the soil (1-2 cm) is dry, you need to water. During the summer, you should check the plants soil a few times a week, while during the colder periods you can check it once a week. Overwatering is the Swiss Cheese plants worst nightmare – the root grid cannot breathe if it is constantly under water and will therefore start to rot. A good little rule when it comes to water your Swiss Cheese plant - When in doubt leave it without.
Location: Your Swiss Cheese plant will thrive in most places. You should not place it where the sun rays hits when the sun is on its highest nor in the darkest corner - anywhere in between these places are just fine.
Temperature: The plant thrives at room temperatures of 15-30°C.

EXTRA PAMPERING
As mentioned earlier, Swiss Cheese is a relatively easy plant to care for. The plant is well suited in a busy household, but if you would like to use a little extra time on your plant, there are a few things you could do to pamper it.
Dust: As the leaves of the Swiss Cheese plant have a fairly large surface, dust can settle on them. Use a soft, damp cloth and avoid rubbing on the leaves. You can also choose to spray your plant with water to increase the humidity around it at the same time – it will also alleviate some of the problems with dust on the plant.
A little shower: A Swiss Cheese plant actually likes a shower once in a while. It increases the humidity around the plant and reminds it of the tropical climate it originally comes from. You don’t have to shower your plant, but it would really love it if you put it on the garden table or balcony on a day with warm summer rain.
In case of no rain, you can also treat it with a shower in your bathroom or you can simply give it a "on the spot shower" with an spray bottle.

Fertiliser: During the hot period from about April to August/September, the Swiss Cheese plant likes to get fertiliser once in a while. It could boost its growth, so if you want your Swiss Cheese plant to grow more wild and explosive, fertiliser is a good trick. Yucca elephantipes COCOZ pot 14Ø 55cm 1Head

When you see a Palm Lily, you have no doubt that you are dealing with a tropical plant. In nature you can find this beautiful palm tree in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and the eastern part of Mexico.
In its wild life, the plant blooms with beautiful creamy white flowers during the summer period, hence the name Palm Lily. Unfortunately, it is not normal for the Palm Lily to bloom when kept as a house plant, as they usually only bloom in a much warmer environment than we can offer in Denmark.
The palm lily has an incredible tropical beauty that gives a exotic touch in your décor - and it's actually pretty easy to maintain and care for.
Botanical name : Yucca elephantipes.
CARE
Watering: Your Palm Lily does not require much water. It tolerates drying out from time to time, but it is best if you water it regularly. Check your plant once a week by putting a finger into the soil - and water when the top layer of soil is dry.
Location: Palm Lily is one of the few plants that tolerates direct sunlight – it actually loves to bathe in the sun's nourishing and life-giving rays. This means that this plant is well suited for a south-facing window where the sun reaches it during the day. If the plant grows too tall for the windowsill, you can place it on the floor somewhere near a window, so that it still gets lots of indirect light.
If you place your Palm Lily in too dark a place, you'll soon find that its leaves becomes less intense in colour and eventually yellow – therefore don't put it in your darkest corner.
Temperature: The plant thrives well in the Danish indoor climate with temperatures between 15-30 °C, but it does not like colder temperatures.

EXTRA PAMPERING
Although the Palm Lily is not the most difficult plant on earth to care for and even people without the greenest fingers can succeed in caring for this plant, there are still a few things you can do to pamper your plant.
A lovely shower: A palm lily will love if you, from time to time, replace a watering with a bath in the shower. This will clean the whole plant of dust and you will get rid of any bacteria that might attack the plant - furthermore the humidity around the plant will increase to a higher level and therefore be more similar to the climate it comes from. Remember to use a soft beam and to temper the water so that it is about 20-25 °C.
Water types: When watering your plant it will affect it, in the long run, what type of water you choose to use. Of course, you can use tap water like many people do, but tap water actually contains more minerals and calcium than your plant needs. Over time, it can cause your plant to have difficulty "breathing", which will affect its growth and appearance.

If you'd like to pamper your plant, watering is a good way of really making a difference:
When watering use rainwater, demineralised water or excess water that has boiled in the kettle (and cooled down). Zebra Plant - Alocasia Zebrina 14D 55cm

It contributes with a tropical atmosphere and will quickly grow large and lush during the summer months.
Botanical name: Alocasia zebrina

CARE
The zebra plant is a relatively grateful plant to care for and is a good match for the interior design enthusiast who doesn't mind watering regularly.
Watering: The zebra plant should preferably not dry out completely. However, it is more tolerant to under-watering than overwatering, so rather water once too seldom than once too often. Water the plant regularly about once a week or every two weeks when the surface of the soil feels dry.
Location: The zebra plant would like to be placed in a room with lots of indirect sunlight. Unfortunately, it does not tolerate direct sunlight as it can burn its leaves and increases the risk of it drying out for too long.
Temperature: Place the plant at room temperatures of 15-30 °C.

EXTRA PAMPERING
The zebra plant likes high humidity levels and therefore you can pamper your zebra plant in many different ways.
Spraying: The zebra plant will love you if you spray your plant with a spray bottle at regular intervals. How often you have to do this depends on how hot the room is – the best way to find out is to just try and adjust according to your plants reaction. When spraying your plant with water, it is important to keep in mind not to end up with "puddles" on the leaves, but that you achieve a slightly moist and even layer on all the leaves. Spray again when all the water has evaporated. When spraying your plant with water, it is important to keep in mind not to end up with "puddles" on the leaves, but that you achieve a slightly moist and even layer on all the leaves.
